Infraction

Traffic violations that only carry potential fines.  Infractions are the least serious type of traffic violations.  However, pick up enough of them in a short period of time, and your license can be suspended.  Most traffic violations will be addressed in Magistrate Court or City Court.

Examples of infractions include:

• Speeding

• Failure to Yield

• Operating a vehicle without proper lighting

• Failing to use a turn signal
